San Antonio, TX - Near Lackland AFB
Small RV Park adjacent to Lackland AFB is in need of a permanent Night and Weekend Manager.

This is an ideal job for a retired person or couple who might be ready to settle down in their camper or RV. You will be required to be on-site 24 hours a day on the weekends and 5 PM - 8 AM Monday through Friday. There is an office but you have the option of working out of your home within the park. Duties are as follows: Answer phone to take reservations and give information about availability. Greet all guests and collect payments - some computer entry. Host Benefits
As a campground host volunteer, you receive free camping with electrical hook-up at Big Bay State Park, located on beautiful Madeline Island, the largest of the Apostle Islands near Bayfield, WI. The benefit also includes a limited number of free ferry fares. The schedules of our volunteer hosts allow you ample time to enjoy recreational activities with friends and family members while providing volunteer services within the state park. Hosts will have the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and perhaps develop new friendships. One of the most important benefits hosts receive is a sense of satisfaction that comes in knowing you have helped make the camping experience more enjoyable for other campers.
Who Can Host
Hosts can be individuals or teams such as a wife and husband. You must be 18 years of age or older and have your own camping gear. Hosts may stay the entire season and there could be an opportunity to rotate hosts among other state parks for a broader experience.
Duties
As a representative of the Department of Natural Resources, a host: Answers questions about the park and local area; Performs general cleaning tasks and minor maintenance; Assists other campers as needed; Is alert to visitor needs, comments and complaints.
Minimum Requirements for All Hosts
You must be willing to provide services five days each week, including weekends and holidays (a minimum of 25 hours per occupant). The property manager will try to be flexible and balance a host's schedule with visitor season demands and the host’s own needs.
• Expected to serve a minimum of four consecutive weeks
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• DNR employees are not eligible
• Must provide own camping equipment, food, and other personal items for your stay
• Required to pass a background check

Campground Host – Wallowa County, Oregon
Community Solutions, Inc.Manages numerous USFS campsites in Wallowa County, located in the northeast corner of Oregon in the valley between the Wallowa Mountains and Hells Canyon. We are seeking a responsible individual to serve as volunteer host at the popular 12-site Ollokot Campground on the wild and scenic Imnaha River from late May through early September 2011. Duties include welcoming guests, providing general information about the area, answering questions, and contacting appropriate parties in the event of an emergency. Work Couple Needed at KOA in Hot Springs, SD.
We are looking for a friendly couple to work side-by-side with the owners and one other work camper couple with all the day-to-day campground work in a relaxed and scenic environment. Must be self-starters and able to look at what needs to be done then take the initiative to take care of it.

General Duties: opening or closing store, cleaning and restocking store, store sales, make coffee or popcorn, handle registrations and make reservations, pool maintenance, make pancakes for daily-all-you -can-eat pancake breakfast, housekeeping cleaning bathrooms, cabins, laundry room and recreation room, mow lawn, rake pine cones, pull weeds, water plants, and pump propane. One person will work inside the store and help with cleaning bathrooms/laundry/recreation room, pulling weeds outside of building, watering plants. The other person will make pancakes, take care of pool, clean cabins, and keep the grounds spotless by mowing/trimming, picking up litter, cleaning sites and pumping propane.

40 hrs/wk per person from mid-May through Labor day.

Physical requirements: must be able to hear and respond over the telephone; long periods of standing, walking, bending, and possibly kneeling; some lifting ip to 50 lbs. may be required.

Job Qualifications: general knowledge of computer operations. Knowledge of KOA Kampsight software a plus.

Compensation: free 30 AMP site for 20 hrs/wk per couple or 50 AMP site for 22 hrs/wk. Hourly wage paid for extra hours. Time off together. Free WiFi, laundry and daily pancake breakfast. Store discount. Uniform t-shirts provided.

Great Job for Retired People!
Family owned and operated campground is looking for a friendly couple to be workcampers mid May to mid Oct. Work is part-time, about 1 - 5 hours a day and requires someone who takes pride in their work and has an eye for detail. Great position for couples who want to keep busy but still have lots of free time. Position includes seasonal campsite; your hours worked are used to pay the seasonal site fee.

TASKS: Mainly cleaning our five rental cabins. Cabins take half hour to 45 minutes to clean. Working and living atmosphere is fun, firendly and laid back. WE DO NOT TIE YOU DOWN ALL DAY! Once the cabins are clean and any other general duties are finished, you are free to enjoy the rest of the day.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., bend and be able to work any day of the week, anywhere from one to five hours a day.

You would stay in our peaceful, lakeside seasonal RV camping area. Campground is on a beautiful lake and the grounds are very landscaped and clean, making for a great working and living environment! Sorry, no dogs. Site includes winter storage, water and sewer. Campground amenities: 600 ft. of sandy beach, beautiful lake with canoe/kayak rentals, boat launch & trailer storage, planned activities, laundromat, and lawn care equiptment. We are located two miles from town, many golf courses, shopping, and many NH actractions.

Work off your site fee! Your pay goes towards your site fee, so you camp for free!

Still Meadow RV - Mount Vernon Area
Work Camp position available beginning in March in exchange for rent and utilities, including cable. Need someone to do check in of pull through guests and check out of full time guests, collecting fees and rents, cleaning of two bathrooms, and maintaining of laundry room and office. Camp Host Needed in Tyler, TX
This 5-Star RV Park, a small RV Park (28 sites), in Tyler, TX (www.5starRVpark.com), needs a work camping couple to start immediately as park hosts. Duties include running the front office, taking phone reservations, assigning sites and collecting and accounting for monies. This position requires a couple who is personable and enjoys greeting and helping fellow campers. Hours are as long as you want to make them but the work is light and sporadic. A typical day includes about two hours in the morning to close the previous days books. The remainder of the day is spent answering the park's cell phone and checking in guests, if any.
